It has been fun and inspiring to use the materials in the classroom! The kids are really having a great time, and learning a lot at the same time. \r\n\r\nThe Splash games are such a hit! The kids love playing them and it is such good practice for them. I have kids in Kindergarten playing the ABC Splash game to learn their letter names and sounds, first graders using the Splash CVC words to practice their reading, and 2nd graders practicing two syllable words. It is fun for them, and with the variety I was able to get with your donation, no one is left out. There is a game for all levels. \r\n\r\nThe students are also loving the magnet building sets that I was able to get. It helps with their fine motor skills, and their spatial skills. As soon as they saw it, they screamed and wanted to touch it!\r\n\r\nNow that we have backdrops, the students learned how to put them up and take them down. Improved Self-Awareness: Journaling provides students with a safe space to reflect on their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. This introspection fosters self-awareness and helps students understand their emotions better. SEL books further enhance this by presenting relatable characters and situations that encourage students to think about their own perspectives and behaviors.\r\n\r\n2). Increased Confidence and Self-Esteem: Recognizing and acknowledging their own thoughts and feelings through journaling empowers students. Reading stories about overcoming challenges and achieving goals can boost their self-esteem and confidence.\r\n\r\nWe believe that integrating journaling and SEL books into our curriculum has been a valuable asset to our students' overall growth and development.
