One of my favorite moments so far was during a collaborative geometry activity where students worked in small groups to solve real-world measurement problems using the new materials. The resources allowed students to be more hands-on and interactive during the lesson instead of simply listening to notes or watching examples. I noticed students asking more questions, helping each other, and staying engaged for the entire class period. It was exciting to see even some of my quieter students become more confident and involved in the activity.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the materials, they were genuinely excited and immediately wanted to start using them. Several students commented that the classroom felt more \"real\" and organized, and they appreciated having resources that made learning easier to understand. Many of my students enjoy visual and interactive learning, so having these new materials helped them feel more motivated and eager to participate. Their excitement reminded me how meaningful it is when students feel supported and valued in the classroom. The smiles and enthusiasm on their faces made the experience even more rewarding for me as a teacher.\r\n\r\nAs we move forward, my students will continue using these resources during our current lessons and upcoming projects. Right now, we are working on activities that focus on problem-solving, collaboration, and applying math concepts to real-life situations. My goal is to continue creating engaging lessons where students can work together, think critically, and build confidence in their abilities. These materials will help support future projects, review activities, and hands-on learning opportunities throughout the remainder of the school year. Thank you again for investing in my students and helping create a classroom environment where they can succeed and enjoy learning every day.","fullyFundedDate":1714138185554,"projectUrl":"project/taylors-tiny-tokens/8170536/","projectTitle":"Taylor’s Tiny Tokens","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Taylor","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-4_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9445646"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_50636","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":622,"numTeachers":53,"percentFrplEligible":87,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":51,"percentWhite":33,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":9,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"2 - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"11.7:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"TOWN","ncesMetroType":"TOWN_REMOTE"},"inStateSupporters":71.4,"schoolId":50636,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Sally Dailey Meadows Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Sally Dailey Meadows Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/georgia/vidalia-city-school-district/sally-dailey-meadows-elementary-school/50636"}
