We're only in our second week of school, and the timing of their arrival could not have been better. My principal hand-delivered the box just as we were about to start our reading screener, and the moment they were installed, there was an immediate shift, a noticeable wave of calm and focus settled over the room. The students were eager to help put them on their desks and even more eager to use them, turning what could have been a stressful moment into one of excitement and comfort.\r\n\r\nWhen the materials first arrived, my students were buzzing with curiosity and joy. I explained that kind and generous people from across the internet had come together to fund this project for us. They were amazed that complete strangers cared about their learning in such a tangible way. The sense of gratitude and excitement in the room was truly heartwarming.\r\n\r\nOur next step is to learn how to use the bouncy bands appropriately so that they remain a tool for focus rather than a toy. I'm excited to see how this resource will help my students improve their attention during lessons. Your generosity has not only provided a physical resource but has also shown my students that they are supported by a community that believes in their potential.
