We received soccer balls, basketballs, footballs, and kickballs, and they have quickly become a favorite resource in our counseling classroom. We use them during small group activities, classroom counseling lessons, and as a way for students to connect with one another through movement and play. These resources allow us to make our counseling lessons more interactive and give students a positive outlet to practice cooperation, communication, and problem-solving.\r\n\r\nWe plan to continue incorporating the athletic balls into counseling lessons and small groups throughout the school year. We are excited to create new games and activities that combine movement with social-emotional learning.
