Your support allowed me to create a unique and engaging classroom transformation that brought learning to life for my students. With the new materials and supplies, I was able to turn our room into an interactive environment where students could explore basic academic skills in fun, hands-on ways while also learning about Georgia habitats. The excitement and curiosity this transformation sparked were beyond anything I could have imagined.\r\n\r\nThe stickers you helped provide were an absolute hit and became a powerful motivator for students to stay engaged and participate. Other donated items helped me set the stage for memorable lessons that blended science, reading, and math in creative ways. The entire experience was unforgettable—not just for the students, but for me as a teacher as well. I simply couldn't have made this happen without your help, and I'm deeply grateful for the joy and learning you made possible in my classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1744033019776,"projectUrl":"project/gear-up-for-adventure-make-learning-a/9109441/","projectTitle":"\"Gear Up for Adventure\" Make Learning a Memorable Experience!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Boswell","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp179890_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1531784559503","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/dboswell"},{"teacherId":9986040,"projectId":9215586,"letterContent":"Thank you so very much for the donation towards my project for new headphones. Teaching in a rural county, it is sometimes very hard for parents to supply the necessary items for their students to be successful in the classroom. Being a mom to three young boys myself, it is often hard for myself to go out and buy extra supplies for the students in my classroom. \r\n\r\nHaving this project funded has taken a load off me. My students were super excited to receive new headphones. Before, I only had about 10 working headphones for 20 students. The students without headphones really had a hard time concentrating and staying on task because of all the extra noise in the classroom. Students who struggle with ADHD really struggle with staying on task and focused with all the extra noise going on in the classroom. These new headphones provide a quiet working environment for all students. Students can focus on their work and get it done in a timely manner. Students use their iPad/headphones to complete daily learning programs such as Waterford Reading and Math, Extra Math, and Epic (listening to books online). Students also use their iPad/headphones to complete benchmark assessments as well as weekly classroom assessments. \r\n\r\nAgain, thank you so much for helping fund my project for my classroom! Without donors like you, my project would not have been funded, and my students would still be without working headphones.","fullyFundedDate":1743515821442,"projectUrl":"project/hear-ye-hear-ye/9215586/","projectTitle":"Hear ye! We were in the middle of moving to our brand new school building and things were quite crazy. Strangers who value the education of young children are truly a blessing that you can never fully grasp. Having the materials that we so desperately need for our day to day work it essential, but often we have to just make due. We have this beautiful new building and now I also have beautiful new \"offices\" as we call them to use with the students to help them focus on their work when they are extra distractible.","fullyFundedDate":1727289327524,"projectUrl":"project/too-many-books-not-enough-room/8528899/","projectTitle":"Too Many Books! The bins allow us to display the store in a way that is both visually appealing and functional, giving students clear, easy access to the prizes and helping them stay engaged in the process. The organization of the bins ensures everything is easily viewable, which keeps the excitement high and the atmosphere positive as students eagerly aim to earn more IXL money.\r\n\r\nThe most rewarding part has been witnessing the students' growing enthusiasm for earning prizes through their IXL work. By connecting the store to economic concepts and specific vocabulary, we are making abstract terms more tangible and accessible. The impact has already been visible—students are more motivated to put in the effort to improve their IXL scores because they can directly see the rewards they are working toward. It's amazing to see how these bins not only support organization but also fuel their drive to succeed and learn.","fullyFundedDate":1735658262598,"projectUrl":"project/clear-bins-clear-choicesorganize-show/8868065/","projectTitle":"Clear Bins, Clear Choices—organize, Showcase, and Teach Economics With income.","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Boswell","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp179890_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1531784559503","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/dboswell"},{"teacherId":179890,"projectId":8833101,"letterContent":"The donations of books have had a huge impact on our classroom, sparking excitement and a love of reading among the students.
