The glue sticks, which may seem like a trivial item, are so important in creating our interactive notebooks. Gluing materials in the notebook that students can engage in as they study makes learning more real. In the age of technology, allowing students to write, draw and have a resource like their notebook, makes learning more personal. With almost one hundred students, we use a lot of glue! \r\n The wobble stools are used daily. Almost half of the students in my classes have individualized learning plans that include being able to move and expend excess energy and distraction free testing. The wobble stools allow those students to move without losing face to face learning time or distracting others. Students absolutely love trading in chairs for the stools. The wobble stools help with concentration, as they will stay focused on the writing or reading task much longer when using the stool versus a regular chair. The testing carrels also help limit distractions for these students during assignments and quizzes.\r\n We are also grateful for the books that were provided. The levels allow students who struggle with reading to still access needed information.
