Your donations allowed us to purchase important lab supplies to aid in deeper learning for our students and building a solid foundation for our students interested in entering the medical field. These supplies will be useful for many school years to come as we continue to strengthen our Anatomy program.\r\n\r\nThe students were very excited to see the packages containing our supplies come in and couldn't wait to get in the lab to put them to the test. The disarticulated skeleton was a huge hit! Students loved the challenge of testing their bone knowledge as they rebuilt our new friend (his name is pending). The students also used this as a creative writing opportunity as they created a story about what happened to our skeleton and how he ended up in so many pieces. \r\n\r\nIn addition to the skeleton, the students were fascinated by the blood pressure cuffs and stethoscopes as they learned to take manual blood pressures and listened to each other's heart rhythms. This will be a great part of building our CNA program and future nurses' basic medical knowledge and prepare them to serve our community.\r\n\r\nWe couldn't do all that we do without you!
