My students use them throughout the day during independent learning, small-group instruction, reading time, and when they need a quiet space to regulate and reset. One of my favorite moments has been watching students independently choose a comfortable spot, grab a book or learning activity, and settle in. We are also using the resources during technology-based practice, where students can work at their own pace while I meet with small groups for more individualized instruction.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the new materials, they were SO excited! They wanted to explore everything and immediately began finding their favorite spaces and tools. What may look like a simple classroom resource can make such a big difference for my students. Having comfortable, welcoming spaces and materials that meet different learning and sensory needs helps them feel safe, motivated, and ready to learn.\r\n\r\nOur next step is continuing to build independence. I want my students to learn when they need a break, what tools help them regulate, and how to return to learning when they are ready. Academically, we will continue using these resources during our reading and math rotations so students can practice skills independently while receiving targeted instruction in small groups.\r\n\r\nThank you for giving my students more than just classroom materials. You helped us create a classroom where students can learn, regulate, grow, and feel comfortable being themselves.
