I use these as a morning work soft start. I wanted to try it as a center, but my students seem to love working together on them. It's also helpful for differentiation. I have Gifted students but this year I have a few who are not in the program yet but are eligible. They all love the puzzles! \r\n\r\nThe puzzles are also good for critical thinking. My students are in First Grade so they are still working on these skills. These puzzles help them because the books have different areas to work your brain. They also love the physical puzzles. Those are used for early finisher activities which are when they finish early, they can get a puzzle to work on.\r\n\r\nThank you so much for these resources. My students learned how to add and subtract using the math boards with hands. They learned how to identify numbers, skip count, and they learned how to work together. My students loved the Stem activities, the ten frames, the base ten sets, and they loved the writing boards. They were thrilled to practice sounding out and spelling words. They even learned how to write and spell words using the magnetic spelling and writing boards. Lastly, my students loved the literacy boards.
