I was even able to share with other teachers on the grade level who needed some and that's a wonderful feeling. After a couple, they started to request them every time there is a holiday to celebrate. We were able to begun with the Martin Luther King Jr. book and they learned about him and why we got a day off school in celebration. Soon after we got to read the Valentines Day book as we were celebrating love and friendship. \r\n\r\nThese books are educational, but more than anything they are FUN because they discuss topics that are relevant and exciting to my kids lives! Thank you so much for the donation. Partners helped with stations in different rooms and got to be included in our fun and our learning! We tied some crafting to academics by pairing them with read-aloud stories or others with writing prompts that matched the activity. \r\n\r\nSupplies that help with learning always mean a lot, but this one is we extra special! It was special because it allowed hands on learning and because families could come be a part of the experience. This day was SO fun and there are many ornaments and Christmas crafts to show for it.
