In a modern high school classroom, audio resources from instructional videos and language practice to interactive software, are essential to daily learning. Having a dedicated, high-quality set of headphones for every student has seamlessly integrated technology into our daily routine without disrupting the flow of our lessons.\r\n\r\nThe most exciting aspect of these headphones for my students has been how they completely transform the classroom dynamic. By using these headphones as their primary classroom tool, they replace personal devices and effectively eliminate cellphone distractions that usually interfere with learning. Students who previously struggled to stay focused during independent work have warmed to this routine exceptionally well. The headphones give them a personal, quiet zone where they can immerse themselves in their assignments, listen to tailored audio instruction, and work at their own pace without outside noise pulling their attention away.\r\n\r\nThank you so much for your generosity in making this project a reality. Your support provided a simple yet incredibly powerful solution that keeps my high schoolers engaged, focused, and equipped for academic success every single day!","fullyFundedDate":1568331088816,"projectUrl":"project/headphones-are-ear-resistible/4245049/","projectTitle":"Headphones Are Ear- Resistible!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Gaines","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp3916862_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1568716214110","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/3916862"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_49718","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":791,"numTeachers":50,"percentFrplEligible":76,"percentAsian":3,"percentBlack":63,"percentWhite":3,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":25,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","percentHawaiianImputed":0,"percentMultiracialImputed":4,"gradesServed":"6 - 8","studentTeacherRatio":"15.8:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":70.0,"schoolId":49718,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Snellville Middle School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Snellville Middle School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/georgia/gwinnett-county-public-schools/snellville-middle-school/49718"}
