My students and I are incredibly grateful for your contribution, which has allowed me to engage them in lessons in a far more meaningful and interactive way. Because of your support, students feel more comfortable participating and connecting with the material displayed on the screen, helping create an environment where every voice can be included and valued. The class project, consisting of small whiteboards, erasers, markers, and board cleaners, has made a tremendous difference in how smoothly our classroom operates daily. These tools allow for consistent use during lessons, helping transitions flow seamlessly while keeping students actively involved from start to finish. This has been especially impactful for my MLL and Honors students, as it provides multiple ways for them to express their understanding and build confidence. The whiteboards also support my lesson planning by offering immediate feedback in real time; students can respond without speaking over one another, and those who may feel hesitant to speak aloud still have a meaningful and comfortable way to participate by writing or drawing their thoughts.\r\n\r\nDuring our units on World War I and World War II, I incorporated openers that connected students to the content through questions such as \"What would you do?\" Students responded on their whiteboards, where some did so through writing, others through drawing (making learning both engaging and accessible for all learners). This strategy allowed me to quickly assess what my students understood and where the gaps were, helping me differentiate instruction based on language comprehension levels and individual needs. My students truly loved using these boards, and their enthusiasm was evident in their willingness to participate and share their thinking. The impact of your generosity continues to shape our classroom in meaningful ways. Moving forward, I plan to use these tools in our upcoming lessons on the Cold War and Globalization by incorporating them into openers and exit tickets, where students will respond through writing and drawing. I also plan to integrate them into group and paired activities, allowing students to collaborate, communicate, and respond to one another in a variety of engaging scenarios. \r\n\r\nThank you again for your thoughtful generosity and for making such a lasting and positive impact on my students' learning experiences.","fullyFundedDate":1769177031657,"projectUrl":"project/expressive-educational-assessments/9969276/","projectTitle":"Expressive Educational Assessments","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Baars","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10389993_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1769596617762","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10389993"},{"teacherId":1541167,"projectId":9901757,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for the 3D printer! My students have been buzzing with excitement every day as they use it to bring their ideas to reality. Seeing a design they sketched or a concept they discussed become a tangible object has boosted their confidence and deepened their understanding of design, measurement, and problem-solving in ways a textbook never could. Many donors use technology at home but may not know how it's used in schools; for us, the printer is a hands-on tool that connects creativity to curriculum by reinforcing lessons in geometry, engineering, and iterative design while also teaching collaboration and perseverance.\r\n\r\nThe most exciting part for the students is watching their creations take shape layer by layer and then holding the finished product in their hands — that moment turns abstract ideas into real accomplishments. A handful of students who were previously quiet or unsure about STEM have especially warmed to this technology: one student who struggled with spatial tasks now proudly leads small groups in refining prototypes, and another who had trouble engaging with class projects has discovered a passion for design and problem-solving. Your gift is already making a lasting difference in how our students learn and see themselves as creators.","fullyFundedDate":1769177051171,"projectUrl":"project/math-in-motion-turning-equations-into-c/9901757/","projectTitle":"Math in Motion: Turning Equations into Creations!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Logan","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-4_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/klogan"},{"teacherId":1541167,"projectId":9055754,"letterContent":"I hope this message finds you well.
