Having the ability to choose our individual used comfortable learning positions has truly revolutionized my classroom! Having the choice to wiggle in their seats has limited the time they are strolling the classroom, increasing the time spent at their seats learning. It has limited the amount of tilting back in chairs, which is a risky choice. It has increased their attendance as well; a side effect I was not expecting! Students are arriving earlier than before, hoping to get their first choice of seating, and focused on tasks for longer periods of time.
