Thanks to their generosity, my 5th grade students now have access to new sports and recess equipment that encourages teamwork, physical activity, and positive social interaction during recess and classroom brain breaks. The students were beyond excited when they first saw the new equipment. Seeing footballs, basketballs, games, and other fun activities instantly brought smiles, laughter, and excitement to our classroom community. Many students immediately began encouraging one another, creating games together, and finding healthy ways to release energy and build friendships.\r\n\r\nOne of the most meaningful additions to this project was the freshening-up items, including body wipes and hygiene essentials. These resources have helped students feel more comfortable, confident, and refreshed after recess and physical activity. As a teacher, it has been wonderful to see students return to class feeling ready to focus and learn without worrying about feeling sweaty or uncomfortable. Something as simple as having access to hygiene products has boosted students' confidence and helped create a more positive learning environment where they can concentrate on lessons and participate fully throughout the school day.\r\n\r\nBecause of your support, our classroom has become a place where students can balance fun, movement, wellness, and learning. We are continuing to use these resources daily as we encourage students to practice teamwork, sportsmanship, self-care, and healthy habits. The astronaut galaxy projector has transformed our room during lessons, immersing students in a glowing universe that sparks curiosity and deepens discussions about planets, stars, and life beyond Earth.\r\n\r\n When students first saw the new materials, their excitement filled the room. Gasps, cheers, and wide-eyed wonder said it all as the lights dimmed and the galaxy appeared across the ceiling. Many students shared that it felt like being inside a spaceship. For students who learn best through hands-on and visual experiences, these resources made learning come alive and helped them feel more confident and engaged.\r\n\r\n Next, students will continue using the LEGO table to take on new collaborative challenges connected to our space science lessons, encouraging creativity and teamwork.
