With school starting soon, I want to make sure my students have all the supplies they need. I want to make 5th grade their best year ever, and ensure that they can compete with more affluent schools. My students attend a Title I elementary school in Atlanta, GA. Over 90% of them receive free or reduced-price lunch, so their families sometimes struggle to provide them with basic school supplies. They are incredibly hardworking but ensuring that they start off the school year with great supplies will help them to start strong and enable me to push them toward college and beyond!

About my class
