The new rug has become the heart of our room—a cozy space where we gather for morning meetings, share stories, and build community. The bookshelf has transformed into an area for math materials and manipulatives. And the Crayola Colors of the World markers? They've been a game-changer! \r\nWhen discussing our identity and cultures, students created self-portraits that truly reflect who they are. One child exclaimed, \"Now my picture looks like me!\"—a moment that warmed my heart.\r\n\r\nWhen the materials arrived, the excitement was contagious. Students couldn't wait to sit on the rug, organize books, and try out every shade of marker. These resources have not only enhanced learning but also helped foster a sense of belonging and pride in our classroom.\r\n\r\nThank you for making this possible—you've given us more than supplies; you've given us moments of joy and connection that will last all year.","fullyFundedDate":1753550506053,"projectUrl":"project/leading-learners-to-excellence/9400684/","projectTitle":"Leading Learners to Excellence","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Ruppert","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9128212_orig.png?crop=652,652,x323,y318&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1749227666839","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9128212"},{"teacherId":6627887,"projectId":9152295,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous donation to our music classroom! With your support, we received a collection of high-quality puppets — including an elephant that can lift its trunk, a frog, cat, chick, and even a snail that can peek out of its shell — along with a beautiful wooden puppet tree to keep them organized.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the puppets displayed on the tree in the corner of our room, they were absolutely delighted. They immediately wanted to meet each of their new \"friends,\" and the excitement was contagious. The tree not only keeps the puppets clean and organized but also makes them easy to grab at just the right moment during a lesson.\r\n\r\nAlready, the puppets are bringing our music activities to life. For example, in kindergarten we used the frog while singing \"Frog in the Meadow.\" The students matched their steady beat to the way the frog jumped — if the frog jumped on my head, they tapped their heads, too! And in just a couple weeks I will be using the chick when we \"Los Pollitos Dicen\" for Hispanic Heritage Month. \r\n\r\nThe puppets have also encouraged even our youngest singers to feel more comfortable with solos. Students who are shy about singing to me love singing directly \"to the puppet,\" and their confidence is growing every day.\r\n\r\nThank you again for making this possible. These puppets have brought so much joy, creativity, and learning into our classroom, and I know they will continue to inspire music-making for years to come.","fullyFundedDate":1749494907509,"projectUrl":"project/help-bring-music-to-life-with-puppets-in/9152295/","projectTitle":"Help Bring Music to Life with Puppets in the Classroom!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Blaske","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6627887_orig.jpg?crop=271,271,x79,y172&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1635974804221","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/blaske"},{"teacherId":9016454,"projectId":9113652,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous support of our classroom through Donors Choose! The hands-on experience sparked curiosity and led to thoughtful questions and lively discussions. The accompanying book has helped deepen their understanding, connecting what they see and touch to real-world geological concepts.\r\n\r\nYour support has not only provided materials—it has inspired a love of learning and discovery.
