Because of your donations, we were able to purchase highlighters, colored pencils, glue sticks, and printer paper. These may seem like simple supplies, but they make a tremendous difference in the learning experiences I can provide for my students every day.\r\n\r\nAs an AP teacher, I regularly ask students to engage with complex primary and secondary sources. Highlighters are one of our most valuable tools because they help students practice close reading, identify key evidence, and analyze historical arguments. Being able to actively interact with a text makes challenging material more accessible and helps students develop the critical thinking skills required for success in advanced coursework.\r\n\r\nThe colored pencils and glue sticks support another important aspect of learning: creativity. While analytical skills are essential, students also deepen their understanding when they create something that demonstrates what they have learned. Whether they are building visual organizers, designing historical displays, or developing projects that synthesize complex ideas, these materials allow students to express their knowledge in meaningful and engaging ways. After all, one of the highest levels of understanding is the ability to create something that reflects and applies that knowledge.\r\n\r\nFinally, printer paper ensures that students have access to the resources, readings, and activities they need throughout the year. It allows me to provide classroom materials that encourage discussion, inquiry, and deeper learning.\r\n\r\nYour generosity is helping create a classroom where students can think critically, engage creatively, and develop the skills they need to succeed both academically and beyond. The bin organizer not only organized the supplies in a nicer way, but students are more inclined to get what they need and clean up after themselves. The dry erase cleaner and microfiber clothes for the whiteboards has allowed students to work out problems on the whiteboards at their desks. The toner for my printer has made it easier to get materials to students quickly. The extra materials for the whiteboards has allowed students to work out problems on the whiteboards at their desks. I got some fun assignments through TeachersPayTeachers like Whodunnits, Escape Rooms, and labs. The \"phone wall\" has been a big hit because of the 24 port charger and cables. We're still in flu season right now and the Kleenex and Sanitizer wipes have gotten lots of use! I had asked for metric tape measures to see how they worked compared to our standard meters sticks.
