This boost in confidence helps them participate more actively in class, interact more positively with peers, and believe in their own potential. Over six weeks, my Art Club students used the mural paint, rollers, brushes, aprons, and varnish you helped provide to create something that will live on in our building for years to come. It was such a fun and meaningful project. They learned how to work on a large scale, how to collaborate, and how to take care of real art materials. Watching their confidence grow each week was such a joy.\r\nNow that the mural is complete, I'm working on expanding Art Club so more students can take part in these kinds of opportunities. Seeing how much this project meant to the kids really showed me how important it is to create more space for student creativity outside of the regular classroom.
