We opened the boxes to explore the contents inside. Even though we did not discuss magnets and circuits until late April, seeing and discussing how we would use these items kept the students' anticipation ready. \r\n\r\nOnce we began the unit on circuits, students explored the results of a series and parallel circuit. Students were able to engage using a switch within a circuit as well. Students discovered the differences between conductors and insulators.
