The moment they walked into the classroom and saw the new materials, they were eager to explore and immediately began asking to use them during centers and small group time. The flexible seating has helped create a calm and comfortable learning environment where students can focus and collaborate more effectively.\r\n\r\nOne of my favorite moments was watching students work together during math centers using the new hands-on manipulatives and games. They were excited to practice addition and problem-solving while actively engaging with their classmates. During literacy time, students enjoyed using the flexible seating options while completing reading and writing activities, which increased both their focus and enthusiasm for learning.\r\n\r\nThe new art and construction paper organizer has also made our classroom more organized and accessible. Students are now able to independently gather materials for creative projects, which encourages responsibility and creativity.\r\n\r\nThanks to your generosity, these resources have made lessons more interactive, engaging, and student-centered. Moving forward, students will continue using the manipulatives during small group instruction and center rotations to strengthen foundational math and literacy skills while building confidence and independence in the classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1760020782863,"projectUrl":"project/creating-a-classroom-that-works-for-all/9559027/","projectTitle":"Creating a Classroom That Works for All Learners","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Robinson","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp5291743_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1746272248578","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/5291743"},{"teacherId":4266852,"projectId":9933645,"letterContent":"My students have been absolutely obsessed with our Fiber Arts club. I will see many of them throughout the day, at lunch, recess, etc, with a skein of yarn and a hook. Their classroom teachers have shared with me that many of the students that are in the club now focus on working on crochet rather than immediately asking to play on a computer when they are given free time. \r\n\r\nI mentioned in passing to our students that maybe we should do something for the community, and suggested perhaps making hats for babies in a NICU. The next thing I know, several of them were trying to figure out how to make tiny hats. \r\n\r\nSince I spend time with them, I can see their progress, but it is so gratifying when classroom teachers stop me in the hall to tell me how great they think it is that these students are putting so much effort into learning a new skill and wanting to share their creations with others. The donations you made to purchase supplies for our club has been greatly appreciated. All of the students cannot wait to create more and more and to show off their skills.","fullyFundedDate":1769025928269,"projectUrl":"project/fiber-arts-fun/9933645/","projectTitle":"Fiber Arts Fun!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. O'Rear-Ash","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp4266852_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1533818236840","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/4266852"},{"teacherId":5705971,"projectId":9331569,"letterContent":"Dear Donors,\r\nOn behalf of our kindergarten class, I want to extend a heartfelt thank you for your generous support in providing STEM supplies for our Maker Lab.\r\nThanks to your contributions, our classroom has been transformed into a space filled with creativity, exploration, and discovery. The Cricut and Silhouette machines allow us to produce everything from student recognition displays to interactive learning boards, hallway signs, and even personalized items that celebrate student success throughout the year.\r\nThese tools also played a key role in developing our hallway community—a space where student work is celebrated and where every learner, especially our English Language Learners, can see themselves reflected in their school environment. There tools have become invaluable in our classroom. The interactive flash cards are especially engaging for young learners, helping them to build vocabulary, pronunciation, and confidence through visual and auditory input. Many of our ELL students are now independently practicing sight words with enthusiasm, often eager to show their progress to their peers and teachers.\r\nThe Pen Scanner has been instrumental in supporting students who struggle with decoding text, particularly those showing early signs of dyslexia. This tool allows them to hear printed text read aloud, helping them better understand classroom content and participate more fully.\r\nAdditionally, the laminator and pouches have allowed us to preserve and personalize learning materials for repeated use. We've created durable word walls, interactive matching games, and name cards that students can use during centers and small group instruction.\r\nWith these resources, our classroom has become a more inclusive, hands-on, and language-rich environment. Students are smiling more, participating more, and most importantly, feeling empowered in their learning journey.\r\nThank you once again for investing in our students.
