A rug specifically designated for storytime will allow our younger students to have their own personal space, while actively listening to a story or a special guest. We have a lovely, older building with a quaint and cozy space for our library. I would like to promote an inclusive environment in the library, while still respecting each individual student's special area. The large, durable, sweetly designed rug I would like to include in my library space will encourage students to sit in their own area and focus during readings and presentations. Our library is a sweet space and I would like to create an area that is specifically for storytime and presentations. A rug that has designated seating will help focus our students and enable them to establish routines.
