These rugs have provided my students a place to learn! My classroom is more welcoming with the comfort of our rugs. \r\n\r\nOur large rug has a specific circle for each student to sit. When students come to the rug, they know the expectation of where to sit and how to sit to be active learners. Our rugs also provide a comfortable spot for small group instruction. My students were excited to see our materials arrive! They wanted to help put the easel together. I allowed a few students to help put the wheels on and hold the easel tight as I built it.\r\n\r\nThe easel has made whole group reading much easier when we have big books. Our new curriculum has big books that were difficult to hold and read upside down. Students are able to see the pictures with ease and reading the book is easier as well. Students have been able to come up and point to details in the text and find spelling pattern.\r\n\r\nOur easel has helped with math as well.
