I was overwhelmed with joy because of your generosity. My students are already enjoying the things you helped provide. We were able to get a lot of snacks for our classroom (for rewards and fun Fridays) as well as magnetic letters and numbers that we can use for hands-on reading and math activities. We also received magnetic building pieces, which give my students a fun way to build, create, and work on problem-solving skills. When the new materials arrived, my students were excited to see everything and immediately wanted to explore and try the new activities. It is always so exciting to see their faces when something new arrives in our classroom!\r\n\r\nWe will continue using these materials throughout the school year during our daily lessons and activities. The magnetic letters and numbers will help us practice things like letter and number recognition, spelling, counting, and early math and reading skills. The building materials will give us opportunities to work on following directions, making choices, fine-motor skills, and problem-solving. In my self-contained classroom, having materials that allow my students to learn by actually touching, moving, building, and doing makes such a difference.
