My students receive edible reinforcers frequently and consistently. I requested skittles as one of the resources for this project. The skittles have been such a hit and have been used frequently as a reinforcer that we are almost completely out of skittles! However, this has not stopped my students. They still accept the gummies and cheez-its as reinforcers. While we might be running low on skittles, they still know that they have other reinforcers available to choose from. \r\n\r\nEdible reinforcers are a huge part of my student's population with seeking immediate reinforcement that they are meeting expectations along with helping to shape and reinforce positive expectations.
