The students were excited to have new copies of the reading bowl books that they could read and use to practice for the Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl. The students' favorite book was Mabuhay! It is a graphic novel that the students enjoy reading. It was great to have multiple copies to allow students to read the book at the same time and then get together to discuss it. With your donation, the reading bowl students are prepared for the competition.
