Your contribution has already begun to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our student-athletes, and we are excited to share the impact with you.\r\n\r\nThe Kendrick Middle School football team was the first to utilize the training equipment you provided, and their reaction was nothing short of inspiring. When we unveiled the new kicking net, kicking tee, mouthpieces, training ropes, and speed equipment, the players were filled with excitement and energy. These resources have quickly become a part of our daily training sessions, and the athletes are taking full advantage of them. Most recently, the kicking net and tee have been central to the development of one of our younger players, who is now training to attempt field goals and extra points, something that would not have been possible without your support.\r\n\r\nYour generosity is helping us strengthen not only athletic performance but also the confidence, discipline, and teamwork of our students. We believe strongly that athletics serve as an extension of the classroom, teaching critical life lessons about perseverance, leadership, and resilience. By providing our athletes with professional-grade training tools, you are helping us instill these values in a meaningful way.\r\n\r\nAs we look forward, we are thrilled to expand the use of this equipment beyond football. Our girls' and boys' basketball teams will soon be incorporating the speed equipment and training ropes into their conditioning routines as they prepare for the upcoming season. This will allow us to maintain consistency across programs and ensure that all of our student-athletes benefit from the opportunities your contribution has provided.\r\n\r\nOn behalf of the entire Kendrick Middle School Athletic Program, thank you once again for your kindness, generosity, and belief in our mission. We look forward to keeping you updated on our progress as our athletes continue to gear up for greatness.","fullyFundedDate":1752764241113,"projectUrl":"project/kms-is-gearing-up-for-greatness/9350144/","projectTitle":"KMS Is Gearing Up for Greatness","teacherDisplayName":"Coach Parker","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10033833"},{"teacherId":6731469,"projectId":9127723,"letterContent":"We recently held our annual Awards Program on Friday, April 25, 2025, and your generous contribution made a meaningful impact. Each student received a goodie bag filled with candy, bookmarks, and inspirational items. When the students first saw the materials, they were elated and truly thankful. Their smiles and words of appreciation said it all—it meant so much to them to be celebrated in such a thoughtful way.\r\n\r\nOne moment that really stood out was seeing a group of students exchanging their favorite quotes from the bookmarks and talking about how inspired they felt. It was a simple but powerful reminder of how small gestures can spark positivity and motivation.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, my next step is to continue encouraging my students to keep reading, believe in themselves, and reach for the skies. I want them to know that no matter the challenge, they should never give up. When our students first received their financial literacy kits, complete with interactive workbooks, budgeting games, and real-world financial scenarios, their excitement was undeniable. One memorable moment was when a group of students collaborated on a budgeting challenge, using their newfound skills to allocate a fictional salary for monthly expenses. Seeing them critically think about needs versus wants and confidently discuss savings strategies was a powerful testament to how these resources are making a lasting impact.\r\n\r\nMoving forward, our students are building on these lessons by diving deeper into real-world financial planning. Currently, they are working on a business pitch project where they will apply their budgeting and investment knowledge to develop and present small business ideas. This next step not only reinforces financial literacy concepts but also encourages leadership, creativity, and confidence, core values of the Leading Ladies initiative. With the continued support of our donors, we are excited to see these young women grow into financially savvy, empowered individuals ready to take on the world.","fullyFundedDate":1734547191686,"projectUrl":"project/financial-foundations-for-females/8876257/","projectTitle":"Financial Foundations for Females","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Hood","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7184699_orig.png?crop=318,318,x56,y48&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1678481199786","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/oohmyhoodness"},{"teacherId":2439905,"projectId":8294635,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your donation and your support of our student learning. The Georgia Book Award program is a great way to get children interested in reading and we had a record number of students read the nominees this year. The committee at the University of Georgia chose twenty wonderful titles from different genres, including six graphic novels. Our students were able to find at least three books that interested them, so they were eligible to vote this week. The results were very close, but Frizzy by Claribel A. Ortega was the winner at KMS.\r\nWe promoted the books in numerous ways. A large bulletin board outside the media center provided summaries, a display with author photos highlighted the books in the library and our morning news crew performed book talks.\r\nThank you again for your support of literacy at KMS!","fullyFundedDate":1722152646217,"projectUrl":"project/lets-read-vote/8294635/","projectTitle":"Let's Read & Vote!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Goff","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp2439905_orig.jpg?crop=367,367,x0,y46&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1554829931635","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/cgoff"},{"teacherId":9617743,"projectId":8534797,"letterContent":"The French students are using the outstanding resources are for as follows.
