We were able to have our first coffee cart baking and distributing this week! The students used the life skills room to read the ingredients, bake, and package the desserts. This morning, they prepared the coffee and walked around the school, practicing their social, motor, and money skills. They raised $45 on the very first day and are excited to do this every Friday! All proceeds then go to the children for community-based trips. Their next CBI trip is to purchase flowers for the sensory garden, then we will have a trip to the botanical gardens to learn how to care for and manage our sensory garden! This would not be possible without your generosity, and we are so grateful!
