The wire cubby system has already made such a difference in how my students organize and take care of their personal belongings. In the past, they had to share baskets, often leaving their items jumbled together with those of others. Now, each student has their own cubby, creating a sense of ownership and responsibility. It's amazing how something so simple has had such a positive impact on the students' daily routine.\r\n\r\nWhen the cubbies were first introduced, the excitement in the room was palpable! The students were thrilled to have their own dedicated space. No longer do they need to worry about their things being mixed up with others', and they now have a special spot to store their personal items. It's these small changes that make a big difference in their classroom experience.\r\n\r\nAs for the next steps, my students continue to use their cubbies every day. They've quickly adapted to the system, and it has become an integral part of our classroom. While the cubbies serve as a tool for personal organization, I'm excited to see how this new structure will help my students as they engage in upcoming projects and lessons. I expect that their increased sense of ownership over their materials will encourage even more thoughtful participation and collaboration.\r\n\r\nThank you again for helping to make this possible. Your support has truly enhanced our classroom environment, and I look forward to continuing to see the positive effects it will have on my students' learning and growth.","fullyFundedDate":1742668059048,"projectUrl":"project/second-graders-want-personal-space/9147765/","projectTitle":"Second Graders Want Personal Space!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Reiber","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6615924_orig.png?crop=352,352,x0,y1&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1741649586586","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6615924"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_47890","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":623,"numTeachers":40,"percentFrplEligible":61,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":16,"percentWhite":62,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":9,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"15.6:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"TOWN_FRINGE"},"inStateSupporters":87.5,"schoolId":47890,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about St Mary's Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"St Mary's Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/georgia/camden-county-school-district/st-mary-s-elementary-school/47890"}
