Th noise cancelling headphones were put to use for two student on the first day. A girl choose purple and a boy choose blue. I was so proud to have these available in great colors. We went ahead and had them personalized for the two students. \r\n\r\nThe new technologies are amazing. The document camera connects to my laptop and displays on my Clear Touch smart board. We can take manipulative from the bins and move them and magnify them so everyone can see. It is fabulous. \r\n\r\nThe projector is for station time and it can display rotations or a differentiated mini lesson while the smart is being used for a station. He is able to get inside it and get the sensory input to help with regulation.\r\n\r\nThe new communication books help promote core words. They also help spread awareness to others about how our students communicate. \r\n\r\nThe fan and bubble machine are able to be converted to a switch activation so we can work on cause and effect. How fun is that?!?\r\n\r\nThe bouncy feet and peanut ball allow for alerting activities. The shark book and Frozen book have been the biggest hit!\r\n\r\nThe emotions tools (bean bags, stampers, etc.) have been great. We are able to discuss feelings while always engaging in play.\r\n\r\nThe communication toys that are activated by a switch button have made teaching cause and effect a breeze.
