The black dresses and pearls you helped provide have given our students a true sense of pride and professionalism. For many, it was their first time wearing concert attire that made them feel like real performers. Your donation has helped our students see themselves not just as singers, but as artists who belong in the spotlight.\r\n\r\nThe students were excited to see that we had dresses for our upcoming performances and immediately helped me create and set a system so that the dresses would not be lost, stolen, etc. They are excited to perform and look forward to wearing the dresses for all of our performances .\r\n\r\nThis project has already had a powerful impact in our classroom and performances. Students are learning how presentation and stage presence connect to musical expression and teamwork. Our next step is to build on this momentum by focusing on stage etiquette, performance poise, and community concerts where students can share their voices beyond the school walls. We are grateful for items purchased that has assisted with better audio quality of our guitar performances. The mics have assisted with projecting our nylon and steel string guitars. The bass guitar has encouraged a few students not only learn to play, but also ask their parents for their own guitar.\r\nThe bass guitar is use often in class and has performed in 2 concerts we have had. The mics were used in our Fall Concert to project sound from some of our guitars.
