Students had such fun using the candy scented highlighters to find text evidence on the pros and cons of chewing gum like Violet Beauregard. The astrobrite neon paper really made our activities, such as designing our own candy bars, pop! \r\n\r\nInstilling a love of reading in my students is one of my greatest joys. Classroom transformation days give me the opportunity to do just that.
