We set up the snacks on a table and then some of the students actually ran the shop. Others were making purchases with the class money they earned to purchase a snack of their choice. Many students did both jobs. It helped students know how much money they needed to make a purchase, as well as those who needed practice in making change. This has been a great experience for all of the students. We will continue to work on purchase and making change for the rest of the school year. The students were so excited to run the store and make purchases, not just eat the snack. I was so thankful for your help in making this possible. It will impact the rest of their lives when they exit high school.
