Students use these laptops to access i-Ready, Reflex, Gallopade, research and take assessments. \r\n\r\nWhen students do not have headphones to use it can be very distracting for themselves and the others around them. Most of the educational sites and games they use talk to them and have background music. The headphones have helped my kids stay focused and have limited any distractions that could lead to off task behavior.\r\n\r\nThe laptops my students use only have a trackpad. Using a mouse helps them navigate their computers with more ease and keeps them focused. These supplies will be incredibly helpful in our classroom and give students the tools they need for continued success.\r\n\r\nSince I have 2 groups of 18 students that rotate daily it's important to stay organized, and the plastic bins will help each block of students keep their things separate and organized for easy access. Keeping their things in an individual space will limit transition times and increase instructional times :)\r\n\r\nThe laminating sheets, plastic sleeves and markers will also be useful for students as well.\r\n\r\nI use the laminating sheets to laminate their individual certificates for math accomplishments and meeting milestones in i-Ready and Reflex. We LOVE celebrating student success. The plastic sleeves ensure we can create hands-on games and reuse them as needed with both blocks.\r\nThank you for helping our classroom stay clean, organized, and running well.
