The class received the materials on our list quickly and it allowed us to start our project on time. The incubator worked perfectly and we hatched 48 chicks. Our Science textbooks truly came to life thanks to you. The children were excited! We had to wait 21 days for the incubation process to happen. Over those 21 days, we did experiments with eggs, wrote stories about our project, and so much more. On hatch day, we read books to our (fake) adopted chicks that we got to take home, while the real chicks went to the farm. Now, my future classroom will get to adventure into the same experiences too. Thank you again for your love for students and our community.","fullyFundedDate":1770566851788,"projectUrl":"project/an-eggciting-learning-experience/10087754/","projectTitle":"An Eggciting Learning Experience","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Fendley","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-10_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10430339"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_47094","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":611,"numTeachers":59,"percentFrplEligible":55,"percentAsian":2,"percentBlack":3,"percentWhite":74,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":8,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 2","studentTeacherRatio":"10.4:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":71.4,"schoolId":47094,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about S.S.
