I teach 6th grade Earth Science at King Middle School in Milton Florida. My school is a Title 1 school with a large number of students' families living within a struggling financial bracket. Most of our students are unable to afford the simple school supplies needed to succeed in their academic environment. We, as educators, provide as much of these supplies from our school provided funds but those are only a few hundred dollars per year. After that, we dip into our own money to ensure our kids have what they need to gain success. Sometimes the items needed, however, exceed what we are able to afford. That is where your generosity has blessed us. My students have been using the new head phones you helped provide and in their own words have expressed their gratitude. They have written me notes stating things like \"these headphones are so much better than our old ones. I can hear my lessons now and am able to complete them,\" \"I used to have to try several headphones to find some that worked but now I don't have to do that,\" \"these headphones work better and are much more comfortable on my head.\" My classes not only love these headphones, they are taking better care of them. They have told me they want them to last since someone wanted them to have them. Thank you again.
