The school librarian and myself are excited to bring this project to life. We paired up books that we had more than one of to laminate. We are planning to attach them to the signs and use them in our garden area. \r\n\r\nOur next step is to figure out what books we would like to use each month! Second grade students are eager to move on to \"big kid books\" also known as chapter books. The Press Start books have been very popular with all of the students in the classroom. They are fun, entertaining, and on just the right level for them to read independently and be successful. Graphic novels are quickly becoming the first choice of students when going to the library, so I thank you for helping me put them in my classroom so that they are readily available to all of my young readers. A huge shout out to the Donors Choose Community for making it possible to projects such as this to be funded.
