Our athletes were very excited to receive the passing target to use during practices and a new antennae, ball cart and balls for games! \r\n\r\nBecause of your support in acquiring a passing target, our athletes have been able work on and improve their passing accuracy last season and are looking forward to continued training and growth this season. Some of our players are new to the sport and have gained passing skills, thanks in part to having better training equipment.\r\nHaving this new equipment for game days will also allow us to host tournaments this coming season and be better equipped for home games. \r\n \r\nYour contribution is more than just sports equipment, it's an investment in in the growth and determination of each of the players on our team. Thank you for helping us achieve our goal to build a stronger team and invest in our student athletes.","fullyFundedDate":1743007019049,"projectUrl":"project/level-up-boys-volleyball-mulberry-high/9200107/","projectTitle":"Level Up- Boys Volleyball Mulberry High School","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Brutus","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8142766_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1742533231508","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8142766"},{"teacherId":380477,"projectId":8900161,"letterContent":"The donations of items to our media center to encourage mental health awareness and provide students a time for stress relief during the school day has been a popular area for our students to visit. \r\nWe have set up a designated shelf that includes the resources provided with your generous donation. Signage is displayed on the shelf highlighting the Google Teen Mental Health Initiative and the partnership with Selena Gomez. This has helped draw attention to the space, though it catches the attention of students even without the signage. There is a box full of fidget toys that students can select from while in the media center. In addition to the fidgets, we have also included the magnetic cube puzzles and the Rubix puzzle for students to use. The textured stickers and stars are distributed as surprises to students and upon request. \r\nThe first week the shelf was set up and accessible it was noticed by most all students who passed through the media center. Lots of questions, \"What is this?,\" \"Can I get one of these?,\" \"How do we use these?,\" came throughout the week. Students would also share with their friends that the resources were here. We of course wanted to make sure the reusable items remained in the media center to be accessible for all, so when students want to use an item, their student ID is traded in exchange to ensure the item is returned before they leave. \r\nSince we are a media center, I have also included books from our collection with mental health topics, inspirational, and motivational stories. These have been a great compliment to the display area and encourage students to check them out. \r\nThank you again for choosing our project to donate to!","fullyFundedDate":1729974854123,"projectUrl":"project/be-chill/8900161/","projectTitle":"Be Chill","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Slinkard","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp380477_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1519877237953","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/nikki-slinkard"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_47037","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":1451,"numTeachers":63,"percentFrplEligible":67,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":10,"percentWhite":37,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":48,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"9 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"23.0:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_FRINGE"},"inStateSupporters":66.7,"schoolId":47037,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Mulberry High School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Mulberry High School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/florida/polk-county-school-district/mulberry-high-school/47037"}
