I now use tickets as an incentive system — students earn them for answering questions correctly, and they can redeem them for rewards, which has sparked a lot more enthusiasm and participation during lessons.\r\nThe elements books you provided are being put to great use as students research different elements for our current unit, giving them a hands-on reference they can dig into instead of relying only on quick internet searches. We're also using the Expo markers with plastic sleeves to actively mark up and annotate science articles — students underline key vocabulary, circle main ideas, and jot notes directly on the text, then wipe it clean for the next class. It's made close reading in science feel much more interactive.\r\nThanks to your support, my students are more engaged, more curious, and better equipped to dig into science content. Left with little to no equipment, due to Hurricane Helene, your donations were the first to enter our gym. We were able to be creative and use the equipment for fitness/running and team building games. We used the hula hoops in several ways. We used them as regular hula hoops, used them to cross the river making sure that everyone was in the hula hoop before they moved to the next hoop.
