I am an assistant principal at Gibbs High School and have led the Fishing Club for the past 9 years. It is my favorite part of being an administrator at Gibbs High School and it would not be possible without the support from the community. I really enjoy watching the students get excited catching fish and learning all about fishing. Gibbs High School has a lot of great students --many of whom are under privileged and struggle with poverty issues. I wanted to run club that students did not have to pay for anything and also have no requirements as far as discipline or grades. I believe that many students have benefitted over the years from being involved in the club and it has had a positive impact in their academics and life-long goals. There are many teachers that help mentor the students at the fishing events and provide guidance and encouragement that is essential to many students at Gibbs High School.\r\n\r\n\r\nThank you so much for your donation --it means a lot to all of the students in the club and will get great use.","fullyFundedDate":1749319485594,"projectUrl":"project/gibbs-high-school-fishing-club/9394339/","projectTitle":"Gibbs High School Fishing Club","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Machado","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-8_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10049395"},{"teacherId":7905319,"projectId":7631627,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your donations.
