My students have been so excited and happy to gain this experience and spend time in nature. Students gained an understanding of soil health, water, quality, plant nutrition, and common Florida pests. They also learned about how to plant seeds and maintain healthy plants to harvest delicious vegetables and fruits. They had a lot of fun harvesting the vegetables and sharing them with the school.The garden allowed our students to interact with the natural world.
