The kids were so excited to have brand new materials to use and find it much easier to use then using the trackpad on the chromebooks. \r\nWe use our computers daily for required programs as well as interactive lessons in the classroom. They are also used for state and district wide testing. Students were delighted to discover the new titles, and didn't hesitate to enthusiastically dive in! The kids are able to read independently, and can be trusted to look at the books without the chance that they will rip or tear them while doing so.\r\n Having a diverse selection of accessible books is essential in all classrooms. My PreK room is no exception! Because of our variety of available titles, students are eager to explore and experience books. Now, the laptops have their own organized \"home.\" Each computer has a spot to charge, which means no more tangled cords or wondering which laptop has enough battery to work. Everything is in one place, and it's easy for me and the students to manage.\r\n\r\nWhat's even better is that the cart is the perfect size for my kindergarteners. The shelves are easy for 5-year-olds to reach, and the simple design means they can practice responsibility by getting and putting away their laptops all by themselves.
