My students come to me as their first true experience in school. It is my job as their teacher to teach them fundamentals and make it engaging and fun. Language and literacy skills are essential and making it meaningful through play is key. These materials requested will provide learning opportunities of standards through fun and engaging ways. Without building a foundation with these skills, students will struggle as beginning reading and writing. My goal is to create a center with these activities that students are having access to and working on daily. These activities will also be used in small groups to help enhance skills and build upon skills already developed.
