The new resources have become an essential part of our daily learning. Students use the whiteboards almost on every day during both small and whole group class instruction. One of our first and most memorable uses was during a phonics lesson. The students used their whiteboards to draw Elkonin boxes, helping them break down and spell out newly introduced words. It was incredible to see their enthusiasm, they were thrilled to choose their own whiteboards and eagerly jumped into the activity. The best part? I was able to quickly check for understanding and give immediate feedback or make notes of names for small group instruction, making our learning even more effective. \r\n\r\nWhen the materials first arrived, \"excited\" doesn't begin to covere it-my students were overjoyed! We looked forward to opening the boxes and we're so grateful for what was contained within. We have made great use of every single item. We're enjoyed reading the books together, which has sparked deeper conversations and improved literacy skills. The board games have been a hot during free-choice time, helping students build teamwork and problem-solving skills in a fun, low pressure way. And the sensory toys have made a meaningful difference in our calming area, giving students who needs a break __a comfortable, supportive space to self-regulate and refocus. \r\n\r\nAs we continue our literacy and math units, the students will be using these tools in upcoming spelling and writing projects, as well as math activities that involve drawing models and solving problems on whiteboards. These materials have already had a lasting impact, and we are so excited t keep learning and growing with them! \r\n\r\nThanking you for making this possible, your kindness is shaping out classroom in powerful ways.","fullyFundedDate":1738792290117,"projectUrl":"project/building-brighter-futures/8924178/","projectTitle":"Building Brighter Futures","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Anderson","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9009044_orig.jpg?crop=3113,3113,x1094,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1687001984556","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9009044"},{"teacherId":2960042,"projectId":8557320,"letterContent":"Thank you all for your commitment to education.
