These items will help my students receive the sensory input they need in order to be better focused during academic time. They all have diverse needs and require different sensory input. When their sensory needs are not met they have a hard time completing activities and controlling their emotions. The inflatable sofa will be used for deep pressure input. A student can lay down in it and it feels almost like a tight hug. The weighted snake can be worn around the neck for deep pressure input while working on an activity. The busy boards will be used to work on fine motor skills. The visual timers are to help stay on task and set boundaries.
