Most of the resources contained in the project will be used for our annual graduation party for our senior class in May. This year we have 10 seniors enrolled in our program. At enrollment, 0/10 seniors were on track for graduation. Currently, 7/10 seniors are on track for graduation. We are hopeful that we will get the last few over the final hurdle over the next couple of months. \r\n\r\nSome of the resources have been used at various times throughout the year for all of our enrolled students. We currently have 22 students enrolled. As an at-risk youth program, our students often have a poor relationship with the education system. To change their mindset, I frequently plan small celebrations for milestones throughout the school year. Using these resources, I have been able to outfit numerous parties this year for our students. \r\n\r\nOn the outside looking in, it often seems like celebrations and parties are frivolous and wasteful when resources are already so thin. My students are proof that if you invest in the school culture and environment, if you give students love and opportunity, and if you think outside the box you can get great results. Our attendance rate at Randall Academy is well above the state and national averages, our students see steadily increased GPAs from enrollment to graduation, and our graduation rate stands at 100%. What we do works but what we do couldn't be possible without you. The impact of a fully fed student is HUGE! By having readily available snacks for our students, we are able to keep them engaged and focused in the classroom. No student needs to feel embarrassed or singled out for asking for a snack.
