Many of our students lack hand eye coordination, and strength in their hand muscles to complete tasks. The playdough in bright colors has motivated them to create and use both their hands and their imaginations. They are using dough cutters, scissors, and cookie cutters to create many different objects.\r\n\r\nThe bath toys have also been a big hit! The kids love suctioning them to the table, and then racing to see who can grab the most in the smallest amount of time. Many of the students are beginning to hit their fine motor skills goals in the classroom.\r\n\r\nWe really appreciate you donating to our classroom project! I had a tough start of my school. The laminator from you has been such a big help in my ESE classroom, where some students show aggressive or destructive behaviors. Before, many of our learning materials like visual schedules, communication cards, and behavior charts would get ripped or damaged quickly. Now that I can laminate them, they are durable, easy to clean, and can be reused even after rough handling. This not only saves me time and resources but also ensures my students always have the tools they need to stay on track and succeed.
