My third graders are in desperate need of new and comfortable headphones. Technology is used daily in our class, but the condition of their headphones limits their education success. Happiness in having a good pair of headphones! Each day during our small group math and reading center rotations, students work on a high interest computer program. Each student is on a different level or skill, so headphones must be worn in order for them and others to focus and hear. The headphones they are currently using are not in the best condition and often do not work. This limits their learning abilities. The headphones are also extremely uncomfortable. At times, students get headaches and don't even want to wear them. Each student is required to take a 90 minute state assessment in math and reading which spans over 4 days. This test is administered on the computer. It is very important that they get the most out of their daily computer lessons through comfort and sound as well as have this awesome headphones to wear in April while rocking their state assessment.
