One project we recently began involves students working in small groups to identify the difference between a mixture and a solution. Using the new materials (magnets, small jars, microscopes) they've been able to dive deeper into their research, organize their thinking, and present their ideas more professionally.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the materials, they were very excited to begin using them. Many students started asking questions about how we would use these materials. Several students mentioned they had never used a microscope before and could hardly wait until they had a turn. It was a powerful reminder of how much access to the right tools boosts both confidence and curiosity.\r\n\r\nFollowing their investigations, students are participating in a structured reflection activity in which they evaluate their learning process and set goals for future scientific inquiry. They are using their science notebooks to record observations, collect data, and document conclusions—strengthening both their analytical and organizational skills.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has made a direct and lasting impact on our classroom.
