I am a K–6 art teacher serving students at two schools, where I have the joy of teaching all areas of the visual arts. Students explore drawing, painting, color theory, sculpture, clay, printmaking, mixed media, art history, and design while learning and applying grade-level art standards. My classroom encourages students to experiment, take creative risks, solve problems, and express their unique ideas. With students ranging from kindergarten through sixth grade, quality art materials help me create engaging, hands-on experiences that build creativity, confidence, artistic skills, and a lifelong appreciation for the arts.
