My students have loved being able to express themselves creatively through both visual and performing arts in my classroom. We do not have art class in our school so whenever possible I try to incorporate it within ours! We were able to have students enter a Martin Luther King Jr. poster contest through creating posters in the music classroom as a direct result of getting these new supplies. They also have been working collaboratively on decorations for our winter program and hallways.
