This leads to rich, sustained conversations that significantly boost vocabulary development and storytelling skills. Including outside communities. The students were able to effectively take notes and participate in most activities presented to them. Students were able to take their notebooks home to students. I had approximately 3 proficient students in the beginning of the school year and ended with approximately 27 out of 58. I plan on recycling most items and use it more effectively to get more than 50 percent proficient.
